WELCOME TO OUR NEW OFFICE

We have been scrambling since May 22, 2011 to rebuild our practice after the tornado destroyed our office. We are proud to inform our patients that we are in full swing at our new location. Although, we currently are not providing all the services we offered prior to the storm, we plan to add those services in the near future. We are open for Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and provide consultations for any facial plastic surgery procedures. We are no located at 620 W. 32nd Street, Suite B in Joplin, Missouri. Our phone number remains the same. (417) 623-5111

INJECTABLE FILLERS

Augmentation of soft tissue is accomplished by various implantable substances that add bulk to tissue. Common injectable fillers used in Facial Plastic Surgery include:
- Restylane & Perlane - hyaluronic acid
- Radiesse - Calcium hydroxyapatite

These dermal fillers are injected just under the skins surface to replace natural support layers, filling lines, wrinkles and scars from the inside out. These will restore a smoother more youthful appearance. Each filler has specific aesthetic and reconstructive properties. Their use and expected results depend on numerous factors that require individual planning. Dr. Shagets, a Board Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon, is available for consultation. Call (417) 623-5111

FRAXEL LASER

Fraxel treatment is a revolutionary laser treatment that helps you remove years from your appearance and regain a more youthful look. Whether you have sun damage, wrinkles or other signs of age, Fraxel treatment delivers remarkable results with fast recovery. So you can quickly return to work or other activities with renewed skin - and renewed confidence. The range of Fraxel treatments vary in aggressiveness, downtime, number of procedures needed and results. The most aggressive treatment, Fraxel repair, can produce dramatic improvement for severely damaged skin. This is a single treatment procedure, but will require more downtime and after treatment wound care. Less aggressive treatments, like Fraxel restore or Fraxel refine can produce significant results for mild to moderately damaged skin over the course of 3 to 6 treatments. Typically, there is no after treatment wound care with these treatments and downtime is minimal. Call for a consultation (417) 623-5111
